Message: “Waiting For Heaven” from Nick Higgins

In 2 Peter chapter 3, Peter asserts that we ought to be “waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God,” and then later claims that “we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” Yet how many of us are truly looking forward to this? If not, we may not have a proper view of what Heaven will be like and what God has promised to believers. This week we’ll be starting a short sermon series to address what God’s Word tells us we should anticipate about the coming Kingdom of God and what life will be like on the New Earth.
