A short time after Jesus explained to His disciples how hard it will be to follow Him, Jesus invites several of them to come with Him on a trip to the mountain. What happened there on top of that mountain would encourage and strengthen them for the path ahead. We too can draw strength and encouragement from this passage in Luke 9.
